Adjust vs Airbridge: Specs, Pricing and Reviews
Compare campaign operations with the browser-to-app journey—and test both against the same customer path.
Evaluate Adjust first for a mobile acquisition operations brief, and Airbridge first when the browser-to-app path drives the project. That is our editorial starting point, not an exclusive feature boundary. Both document deep linking and web measurement; the details of routing, identity and packaging determine whether either meets your requirements.
Official specifications and publicly accessible reviewer feedback were checked October 30, 2026. Cald has not conducted a controlled performance benchmark. The product facts below come from vendor documentation, the review findings are attributed opinions, and the buying recommendations are our interpretation.
Specs that change the implementation
| Requirement | Adjust | Airbridge |
|---|---|---|
| Deep links | TrueLink supports direct and deferred deep links, platform fallbacks, branded short links and a generator API. Deep-link guide. | Core lists deferred links, custom domains and web-to-app measurement. Core plan. |
| Web measurement | Its web-to-web guide specifies click attribution and a separate Growth Solution. Do not confuse that guide with a web-to-app implementation. Web campaign guide. | The Web SDK collects web and web-to-app attribution data; its documented interface includes user IDs and clearing user information. Web SDK. |
| Web reporting semantics | A first web session counts as an install. Web clicks use a reftag rather than the app attribution waterfall. Web FAQs. | Core lists revenue, funnel and retention reports. Map the report’s denominator to your business definition. Included reports. |
| Raw-data route | Callbacks or cloud uploads deliver raw records; set up the export before expecting historical device-level logs. Onboarding. | The Core plan description places raw exports in Growth, alongside custom events and wider network coverage. Plan boundary. |
| Link configuration QA | Web base URL and redirect parameters affect the destination and attribution behavior. Web setup. | Test the supported protected attribution window configuration for the selected Web SDK version. SDK configuration. |
Choose the workflow you need to prove
Adjust: keep routing and attribution definitions explicit
The useful distinction is between opening the right destination and crediting the right campaign. Adjust’s documentation describes cross-platform fallback behavior and the treatment of web sessions separately. A campaign link can open the expected page while a report uses a different conversion definition from your finance team.
Our inference: give Adjust the first demo when a dedicated acquisition team needs to investigate links, campaign attribution and downstream records together. Ask the operator to explain one new install and one returning-user journey. Then have an analyst find the corresponding event in the agreed export. A screenshot of a dashboard total is insufficient evidence for a routing or identity test.
Airbridge: test the boundary between anonymous and signed-in
A combined web/app report needs a deliberate identity design. Choose an internal account identifier that your systems can supply consistently where permitted, then define what should happen before login, after login and after logout. Do not assume that a dashboard automatically resolves every anonymous visit into an app user.
Our inference: give Airbridge the first demo when paid traffic lands on a website before customers install or subscribe. Include a shared-browser account-switching test. Ask which associations are directly observed and which remain unavailable. Keep consent handling and platform restrictions in the acceptance criteria, rather than using an internal account ID as a way around them.
Pricing: conversions and data points differ
Adjust lists Base free for the first year with up to 1,500 monthly conversions. Core and Enterprise are quote-based; request the price of required Growth Solutions.
Airbridge lists Core from $40/month with 500,000 data points, then $0.0001 each; Growth is custom-priced. Confirm the event-volume forecast and required features.
These are publication-date snapshots, not equivalent quotes. Prepare one workload showing acquisition volume, event volume, apps, SDK platforms, networks, exports, retention and support. A high-frequency event design can affect a data-point bill even if paid installs stay flat. Conversely, an attribution-based conversion count should not be replaced with your number of purchase events.
Send the same requirement list to both vendors and request an expected-volume invoice plus a growth scenario. Identify which trial entitlements will expire. Also estimate the effort to operate any export pipeline and to migrate existing links; those costs belong in the decision.
What reviewers say—and what to test
G2 reviews of Adjust praise reporting depth and tracking links while describing a learning curve and occasional slow report loading. These comments are individual experiences, not benchmark results.
G2 reviews of Airbridge praise support and web/app visibility; other comments mention slower retrieval and integration effort. Reviewer circumstances and plans differ.
Some displayed reviews are incentivized or seller-invited. Neither a review summary nor a star score establishes performance for your network mix. Use these findings to design a practical evaluation:
- Let a new team member build the same funnel or cohort report in each tool. Record where they need help.
- Load a representative date range and dimensions, then time the reporting task on your actual trial data.
- Ask the same integration question through the support channel included in the proposed plan.
- Inspect a failed or unmatched event together. Require an explanation your analyst can reproduce.
Worked pilot: a web-to-app subscription with account switching
Synthetic example: a subscription service sends paid traffic to a website, then offers an app installation. Two test accounts use the same browser sequentially. The goal is to verify the conversion path and prevent the second account’s payment from inheriting the first account’s identity. This is a proposed acceptance exercise, not a client result.
| Event | Exact trigger | Required context |
|---|---|---|
account_signed_in | Backend confirms a successful authenticated session. | Event ID, account ID, UTC occurrence time, platform and session ID. |
trial_started | Backend verifies a new trial entitlement, once per trial. | Event ID, account ID, trial ID, plan and UTC occurrence time. |
subscription_payment_succeeded | Backend verifies a settled subscription transaction. | Transaction ID, event ID, account ID, revenue, ISO currency, UTC time and first-payment flag. |
Run the sequence: campaign click, landing page, app installation, sign-in, trial and payment. Repeat with the app already installed. Then sign out of the browser, sign in as the other test account and complete another payment. Use supported identity-clearing methods for the SDK version under test.
- Routing passes when every supported installed/uninstalled scenario reaches the intended destination; document unsupported browser or platform cases.
- Identity passes when the second account’s events carry its intended identifier and do not retain the first account’s user attributes.
- Revenue passes when the recorded transaction matches the backend amount and currency, and retry handling does not double-count it.
- Reporting passes when web sessions, app installs and payments have explicitly different denominators and can be reconciled under agreed windows and timezone.
- Access passes when the required sample reaches your intended data destination under the plan being quoted.
For iOS, test each vendor’s currently supported Apple attribution setup separately. Aggregate, delayed or modeled signals cannot be treated as a customer-level ledger. Ask specifically about conversion mapping, postbacks and overlapping reports before accepting an accuracy claim.
Adjust or Airbridge: which should you evaluate first?
Take a four-step quiz and watch the fit forecast change with each answer. This is our editorial routing model, not a product benchmark. Your answers stay in this page and are not stored or submitted.

How this quiz makes a recommendation
The live forecast divides the points from answered questions between the contenders. Before weighted answers, shares are evenly split. These shares are not winning probabilities. Business-pattern points are our editorial hypotheses about where to begin a demo. They are not ratings of accuracy, quality or exclusive capabilities.
| Pattern | Adjust | Airbridge |
|---|---|---|
| A mobile app with a broad acquisition brief | 2 | 1 |
| An ad-supported mobile game | 1 | 0 |
| A customer journey spanning website and app | 1 | 3 |
| A team consolidating many ad accounts and spend sources | 1 | 1 |
| None of these, or still deciding | 0 | 0 |
The workflow question adds 3 points for its matching evaluation focus: campaign links → AppsFlyer; operations and callbacks → Adjust; cost normalization → Singular; web-to-app → Airbridge; lean game monetization → Tenjin. A focus outside this pair and “no single workflow” add no points. The higher total is evaluated first; equal totals recommend piloting both. The buying constraint changes the demo task, not the ranking. Mandatory requirements can override the result. Website-only answers bypass the comparison.
